Right now, Citizens and the Campaign are reaching consumers by partnering with over 5,000 health food and grocery stores and 10,000 alternative health practitioners to provide action alerts and voter registration flyers at the registers or pass these flyers out as bag stuffers. This month, Citizens and the Campaign will distribute nearly 1 million action flyers nationwide through our growing retail store network. Our flyers urge consumers to take actions to defend their health rights, register to vote and provide steps to make their families and communities healthier. Consumers are directed to www.citizens.org where they can send an urgent message directly to their Member of Congress and stay informed.
The goal is to build an activist network over 250,000 strong and register at least 25,000 new voters on Citizens’ website, www.citizens.org. Through this exciting initiative, Citizens for Health and the Campaign will create a vibrant online activist community ready to mobilize to protect their rights or take action at a moment’s notice.
