Cholestoral-Lowering Effects of Red Rice Yeast

Name:
Paul Kirkendall

Location:
Moses Lake, Washington

Story:

I have been taking red rice yeast now for over a year and have my high colleserol under control with no side effects.  I took one prescription of Lipitor and had all kinds of side effect and not much lowering of my collesterol. Luckily I have a fair supply of red yeast rice as I understand the FDA had it outlawed. That's going too far as far as I am concerned. I respect controls but outlawing a natural ingredient when the big drug company's feel a little competition goes too far.
